CEU and Graduate Credit

CEU Credit

Each workshop is equal to ten contact hours of participation in an organized continuing education experience under responsible sponsorship, capable direction, and qualified instruction.

Act 48 Credit

CyberSmart! is an Act 48 authorized provider in the state of Pennsylvania.

Certification of Completion

Upon completion of a CyberSmart Workshop, each participant is issued a certificate of completion.

Graduate Credit

Ashland University, through Ashland University Professional Development Services, provides graduate credit for CyberSmart! Online Workshops.

Participants may earn one (1) semester hour of graduate credit for each workshop in which they complete 15 hours. So while the workshop syllabus says you'll spend no more than 2.5 hours per week, for graduate credit you will have to spend 3.75 hours per week. This can easily be accomplished by increasing your participation in discussion forums, conducting more extensive research in the CyberSmart! Knowedgebase, increasing contributions to wikis and other assignments, and providing more details in your final assignment.

Note: The cost for graduate credit is not included in the workshop fee.
