Digital Storytelling Initiative

Video Gallery

These 17 student-made videos are the product of a three-week digital storytelling initiative in rural Senegal. The students worked in pairs, with one student in front of the camera and the other acting as director. Each pair was given their own camera and a two-day period to shoot their films. The result is a fascinatingly candid look into village life, a perspective that could only be filmed by a local. The students' narrations are in French, Senegal's official national language. English subtitles are provided.

The students look forward to communicating and learning with a global, connected community of learners. To find out how to get involved, read more.
